I have been a member of LeTip of Blue Bell since 2006 and board president for the last four years. Back in 2006 when I joined LeTip, I could have joined a half a dozen networking groups in my area but after being a guest at the Blue Bell, Pennsylvania chapter, I clearly felt at home with the group and impressed by the high level of drive and commitment to bring in new members.
I opened my law practice in 2013 specializing in workers’ compensation, personal injury and bankruptcy. Before that, I was a partner at a small law firm and was responsible for a percentage of new business each year. Networking has always been crucial to my bottom line. The professional relationships I gained from LeTip prior to branching out on my own gave me the footing I needed to launch my firm and they continue to be instrumental in the growth of my business. Our strong core membership as well as loyal past members recognize the value of the first-rate leads, we get from LeTip.
I admit it’s the income I generate from the LeTip leads that gets me to our early morning meetings, but my chapter means much more than that. Members truly feel like family. We lean on each other when times are tough. We had a member at one point who was diagnosed with cancer and we rallied around him. Fortunately, he got through it and we welcomed him back into the chapter as soon as he was well enough to attend. Another member recently emailed me in the middle of the night stressing about the possibility of losing his job and asked if LeTip could do anything for him. I connected him with LeTip International resources to start his job search. Our members and LeTip International create a foundation for support.
I take pride in a highly ethical reputation as a certified workers’ compensation attorney with extensive successful experience in the courtroom and at the negotiating table ensuring my clients’ rights are protected. It takes a lot of confidence to stand in front of a judge and plead a case. LeTip’s weekly public speaking practice helps me hone my skills and solidifies the confidence I need to do my job.
I will be forever grateful to LeTip of Blue Bell and the amazing people I have met through my association with the group. I plan to “pay it forward” for many years to come.
