Michael brings a combination that people tend to remember: high energy, direct communication, and a genuine enjoyment of working with others. Whether he’s greeting members of LeTip of Tigard, Oregon with a booming “GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY!” or guiding clients through the sale of a business, he approaches conversations with enthusiasm and a steady hand.

With more than 20 years in high-end sales and years of experience as a business broker with Transworld Business Advisors, Michael has built a reputation for staying calm through complicated transactions and helping people feel informed throughout the process. He is currently the top-selling broker in the Portland office and a member of the company’s President’s Club.

As the longest-serving Senior Broker in the Portland office, he works with business owners and buyers through every stage of the transaction process, from initial conversations and valuations to negotiations, financing, and closing. Michael understands that buying or selling a business is often deeply personal as well as financial, especially for owners preparing to step away from something they’ve spent years building.

Over the years, he has worked with businesses across a wide range of industries, including restaurants, HVAC companies, towing businesses, franchises, manufacturing companies, home repair services, and more. Michael especially enjoys getting to know owners and hearing the stories behind the businesses they’ve built over time. Those conversations naturally lead into discussions about how they got started, the challenges they’ve faced along the way, and what comes next for them professionally.

Michael has been a member of LeTip of Tigard for eight years and currently serves as the chapter’s Program Director. A lifelong Oregonian, Michael takes pride in working with business owners throughout the Portland area and surrounding communities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons and taking advantage of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
