Karen Carlson has been in LeTip for over 6 years, and last year she served as LeTip of Stockton’s chapter president. With over 30 years experience in the field of property management, she has worked with Property Management Experts since 1990. She was PME’s leading Account Executive for seven years and was promoted to the position Vice President and General Manager in January of 1998 and in 2004 was promoted to President. Karen oversees the activity of all Account Executives and is directly involved with staff training. Karen is the broker for the company and holds the designation of RMP (Residential Management Professional) and MPM (Master Property Manager) from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Karen is also one of the few to have earned the designation of CPM (Certified Property Managers) in the central valley from the IREM (Institute of Real Estate Managers).
Karen is Past-President of the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Karen served as a National Board of Director and was the Treasurer for NARPM. She was also the Convention Chair for the 2005 Annual Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah for NARPM. She was past National Marketing Committee Chair for two years and for two years the Past Program chair for the Annual Convention.
She served as a member of Lambda Theta Phi for five years, a community service group dedicated to raising funds for local charities in the San Joaquin Valley. Karen served two years on the Hospice of San Joaquin Board of Directors. Karen is a Past President of Junior League of San Joaquin County and has been a member for over 10 years, a local women’s group raising funds for local charities. She served as President of the Miracle Mile Improvement District for 2 years and was on the board for 9 years.
