A local service‑based business reached out to me feeling overwhelmed by their finances. I moved to Portland to attend Portland State University, where I played 4 years of baseball, coached by the Oregon baseball legend Jack Dunn. Under impressed by working for corporate America, I started a specialty neuro and spine products sales & distribution company called TKO Surgical in 2003 and we had a good run until 2020. Then Covid put a sustained halt to elective surgery and my surgical products sales career came to an abrupt stop. The extended pause in my specialty of disruptive sales products, combined with the over regulation of the medical device industry, lead me to look beyond the world of surgical device sales, eventually leading me to the Home Services arena. Looking for another business ownership opportunity, I decided to purchase the Portland Metro area franchise opportunity with PatchMaster Drywall Repair. It has been a rewarding experience transferring my business acumen to this industry, and drywall repair in particular, as our customers are very thankful for our services. Personally, I have two grown children I enjoy immensely. I am an avid researcher and practitioner of natural health remedies for healing soft tissue injuries and curing, "incurable" Chronic Illness, avid weekend golfer, chasing steelhead with skating fly's and trout with dry fly's, coaching baseball and some umpiring.
