Hope for Change Wellness was birthed within a very painful time in my life. My late husband and I battled through 7 years of brain cancer. Within that struggle, I found a passion for helping him through changing the way we ate. I truly believe the changes that we made were a major catalyst in how well he did for so long as he worked as a full time ICU nurse for most of those years. We lived by the truth of these words, “There is Always Hope for Change, No Matter How Dark Your Days May Have Become”. This became the tag line for my practice. It is so true, no matter how dark things got, there was always a ray of hope lighting the way. I feel a calling to help others find that same path that I did, not only through nutrition, but through physical activity, lifestyle, nutritional counseling and spirituality. Hope for Change Wellness’ purpose is to light the way for others and let them know that they are not alone!

Hello Everyone! Growing up, I was always interested in how the human body is so complex, yet it appears so simple. I studied at Saint Mary's College of California in Walnut Creek, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. After graduating, I started working at a chiropractic office where I was inspired by the chiropractor and not long after I applied for a graduate program. I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in June 2022 with my Doctorate in Chiropractic. After passing my state boards and licensing requirements, I got my license to practice in the state of California in January 2024. I have been at Connected Chiropractic with Dr. Michelle since July 2022 mainly working at the front desk, and through an internship, I was able to see clients as well. I love being a chiropractor and helping people feel better connected to their bodies. I am currently engaged and getting married at the end of August to my almost 9 year partner, Johnny. Life's Journey, I started in the pest control industry because that is the business our Dad was in. When I was 15, we use to go clean out the trucks & wash them every Saturday and then clean the office. When I got my drivers license I became the delivery or errand boy after school. In the summer of 1975 was the first real 1st hand experience in the industry where I received my first paycheck of $39.12. I learned how to identify all the different types of damages caused by pests that can destroy our homes and buildings and how to repair them. In 1978 I passed the State test and was licensed as a termite inspector. A few years later I passed the test for pest control technician. I have only worked for 3 companies in my career, Bugman, Roseville T&P and PCC. It is hard to believe I have been here at Pest Control Center for 38+ years now from the time when our Dad said, Son, it's time we did our own company together. I have not looked back since except to remember the important lessons of life that happen along the way. Love to play the game of golf, unfortunately the game does NOT like to cooperate with my score. Therefore I have a Love Hate relationship with the game. Hard to believe in June 2025 I will have 50 years in the pest control industry. I would not trade them in for anything. Also in July 2025 will have 45 years of being married to my best friend in 1978 when we first met to now.
