Fabiola Guevara is the current chapter president of LeTip of 215 West, NV, and has been a LeTip member since February of 2024. She is a Banker with Nevada State Bank and only one sponsorship away from obtaining her Silver Badge. We caught up with Fabiola for a conversation about her journey in the banking industry and her involvement with the LeTip community. She was kind enough to share the following with us:
“I have been in the financial industry for almost 20 years. I have worked at every level in retail banking that you can think of, from teller to banker to assistant manager to branch manager, and now the business banker. My favorite thing about being a business banker is working with business owners and knowing I’m having an impact on their business growth and future while also making a positive impact on my community.
My experiences with LeTip started three years ago when I was introduced to the organization by my current VP. I had some hiccups and reservations about initially joining, but after becoming very good friends with my current VP, Lori, we decided to start our own chapter last year and make it our own. The tip has been an amazing resource for my industry because I’m able to connect my clients with professionals who are not only looking for business in my area, but also in other parts of the USA. It has been a game changer in speaking with clients, knowing that I have a Rolodex of people I can contact with whatever their needs may be.
On April 9, 2025, my chapter will be one year old and we are currently about to vote in our 26th member! A few of the unique things about my chapter are we only meet twice a month and have eliminated some of the things that don’t add value to our chapter meetings. We also hold quarterly round tables to add value to our members’ businesses, like asking what their struggles are and creating masterminds to help and collaborate with each other.
I have met some of the most amazing people in this organization, and I know I will be a member for life after some of the great experiences I’ve had.”
