LeTip has been a major part of my life for 11 years. Aside from the obvious benefits of “dollars in my pocket” there is so much more. Friendships & psychic income are the two major ones that come to mind. It’s so ironic to be a recipient of the Mentor award as I look at my chapter & am appreciative for so many mentors who have & still enrich my life. I could have chosen many for this award.
Flooring is my category. About four years ago, I trimmed back my work involvement, not to retire (I don’t relate to that word) but to work less so that other interests could be explored. As a result, I’ve rekindled my acting involvements, taking 2-3 classes every week, performing in plays, being part of a dinner theatre mystery troupe, & a film appearance here & there. There is no question that interacting with new members as well as long time ones has improved my communication & management skills as well as my acting.
I could go on & on about my appreciation of LeTip, but suffice it to say that I “bounce” out of bed every Friday morning, always looking forward to our 7:01AM meeting.
Special thanks to Kim Marie & to Scott Jones for the great support over the years. I am so grateful to be part of this wonderful organization
