I am a credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor who is also certified in anger management, and the Grief Recovery Method. My belief is that unresolved trauma is the root of all of our upsetting symptoms. As such, I have been trained in several different treatment modalities that are able to communicate with that part of the brain that houses our trauma: EMDR, Havening, Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol, and the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy. Not only do I work with individuals and families, but I also have groups for those who have experienced loss in more than 40 different ways i.e death, divorce, relocation, retirement, and trust, to name a few. As I am trained in domestic violence I also provide counseling to those individuals individually or in group. I am also able to provide my services in person or virtually. I am also an active workshop presenter able to provide experiential workshops regarding stress management where the attendees will walk away with an invaluable coping skill. I am also available to do parenting and workshops on grief.
