As an attorney with Pickney Law Firm, PLLC, I represent individuals in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including equitable distribution of assets, child custody, child support, maintenance (spousal support), pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, family offense petitions (non-criminal orders of protection) and post-judgment enforcement actions. I routinely handle cases in the Supreme Court and Family Court in Nassau and Suffolk counties and occasionally take cases in Queens county. I regularly represent police officers, firemen, nurses, teachers, tradesman, small business owners, stay-at-home parents, and people from all walks of life when they and their families are confronted with divorce and family law issues. I strive to represent my clients both effectively and efficiently, recognizing that disputes should be resolved through negotiation whenever possible. LAURA M. ENDRES, ESQ. is a 1993 graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook, where she earned her undergraduate degree in cultural anthropology. In 1998 she graduated from Touro Law School with her J.D. degree. Almost immediately she began practicing as a solo attorney focusing in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, landlord/tenant representation and business transactions. In 2000 she was appointed to the position of Sr. Deputy County Clerk for the County of Suffolk where she was responsible for an estimated 130 public employees and prided herself in providing to the public the service they deserve from their governmental agencies. She managed and directed the work flow of all the departments including recording, court actions, business certificates and judgments. During this same period she continued with her law practice and also conducted parking violation hearings for the Town of Brookhaven. After leaving the public sector she continued practicing law, expanding her areas of practice to corporate and small business purchases/sales.
