Suite Additions
Contractor RemodelingTim has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He began in Portland managing almost 200 new home projects for a local builder. In 1996 he opened a contracting company with his wife where he focused primarily on remodels and additions. When personal electronics took off he moved to the corporate world and applied his management, project skills to the world as a vendor relations manager, Chief Business Development Officer and Contract Chief Operations Officer. The remodel bug was strong though and in 2013 he opened Suite Additions LLC. Testimonies: Shared by Jennie Jorgens (Marketing manager for Suite Additions) "If you are looking for someone safe to have around your loved ones, with integrity and a love of service, this is your guy." -This has been said about Tim on so many occasions that listing all the names would fill the screen. I'm proud to say that Tim is the guy you want working on your project. He cares greatly about your project and what is right for you. I don't know how many times I've heard the following: "Thank you for loaning me your husband. He did such an amazing job." Look for before and after pictures soon. We've been so busy taking care of your projects that we don't have all the pics up.
Floor and Decor
Floor CoveringWelcome to my LeTip Profile! My name is Tina, and I am the North Portland Pro Services manager, Member Chair and excited to be a part of the Rose City Chapter of LeTip. I grew up in a small honky tonk town in Eastern Oregon, known for rodeos, whisky and wool! I have two dogs that I adore named Titus and Tucker. During my off time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my fur babies exploring the PNW or simply staying home cooking with love for others. I began my home remolding journey as a teenager working at the local family-owned hardware store, Zimmerman’s True Value and helping my parents with the remodeling of an 1896 Victorian home we converted into a Bed & Breakfast called Swift Station Inn. This is where my customer service passion began. I love helping others through volunteering, leading, being supportive and understanding individual strengths and weaknesses. I believe that we all can benefit from being lifetime students and being open to other perspectives and life experiences. Fast forward life and I landed a customer service job with a service provider for Costco. I contemplated going to school to be a trauma nurse, but I started to learn about flooring and how to install it. I took to the industry quickly and advanced to escalation's team. There I helped members resolve issues with their carpet, blinds and drapes. I fell in love with the business, constant problem-solving atmosphere and the technical sides of flooring. I was given an opportunity to continue my career in flooring installations as a facilities manager who provided installation services to Home Depot. I was the youngest and only women manager at the time I began with the company. It was a huge responsibility and learning experience. There was a running joke that I would not last more than 60 days, 10+ years later I was at the top of my game. Breaking customer service records with my “How to get a 10” training program and building a team of installers that became like family. When I was ready to move on from the installations side, my goal was to learn more about the home remodeling industry. I dabbled in the reconstruction industry as a restoration project manager and a home maintenance and remodeling project manager. I helped families rebuild their homes after a disaster like floods, fire and other traumatic events as well as those who just needed help managing their remodeling projects. Over the years I’ve helped many people create design concepts with multiple types of materials. It is an outlet for my creativity, and I get great satisfaction when the projects are completed. Being a valuable resource to those in the community and seeing a family's excitement after a stressful time is the real prize. My eternal goal in life is to continue to be a better student, leader and ally encouraging others to become their best selves and live their best life. Look forward to growing with you!
