A little bit about me… My name is Jacqueline Zorcik. Please call me Jackie. I started my Arbonne online personal care business in Nov 2006. It was the best financial and work decision I ever made. I had previously worked for a major corporation for 15 years, right out of college. I liked who I worked with but didn't love the 7am to 7pm branch hours and nonexistent flexibility. Unfortunately, that is not that case. I wanted to learn more because honestly I didn't think much about what I used, BUT on my babies, I wanted to know what I was giving them and putting on their skin. NOW 14 years into my business, I love sharing and educating people on how product ingredients and standards are different and what we offer.. Arbonne is a green, vegan, 100% botanically-based (non-GMO, gluten-free, etc.), personal care health and wellness company. We help you be healthy inside and out. I offer over 550 different product that people use every day in 9 different shopping categories. Most households use one or a few types of these products including daily care (hand soap, shave gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), anti-aging skincare, acne care, teen line, baby line, men's line, essential oils, make-up, nutrition, and sports nutrition. I truly love my home-based business. My babies are now 15 and 17 years old and I know that our healthy products not only contribute to our family's healthy lifestyle, but my business positively impacts others, too. I serve people that are looking for easy, simple, healthy options. Arbonne also just became a certified B corporation, which means that we care about ingredients, while also being safe for the earth, our environment and being a carbon-neutral company. That means a lot to me.

We all have that "red thread" linking us to our destinies. As a child, Susan remembers exactly how she drank her coffee while her older brother enjoyed his hot chocolate. Looking back, the Sunday mornings with her dad to pick up coffee and the newspaper, weekday afternoon bike rides to the coffee shop and sneaking in cups of coffee to school may have been some of the stops along the way for Susan. But like all great things come in due time this is not where life lead her at first. Graduating with a Masters in Foodservice Education from Johnson & Wales University in 2000, Susan was looking for a company she could grow with. That is when she found about about this up an coming (on the East Coast) company called Starbucks. There had been a couple of their stores opening in the area where she grew up but not much thought was given to them until she was researching about their mission and philosophies. That was it, the company she needed to be part of. Beginning as an Assistant Store Manager, she quickly moved up to Store Manager within a couple of months. There, she used her passion for coffee and the company to become one of the main Management/District Management trainers and Certified to certify some of the first Coffee Masters in the company. While her passion for coffee continued to grow. There were other priorities in life that lead her away from that coffee journey. With a baby on the way and a husband working (uncountable hours) as a chef at a Hampton's restaurant, something needed to change. This is where they joined forces and began Chokola'j. An online boutique chocolate company. Here, they were both able to share their passions with the world. Winning awards, shipping internationally and being showcased in multiple national publications such as Martha Stewart, Culinary Trends and Weddings Magazine. Looking for a very specific coffee profile for one of their confections, they began roasting their own coffee. Alas, this was the perfect complement to their chocolates. Tend Coffee was born in 2011, roasting coffee for Chokola'j, selling to Whole Foods, local restaurants, cafes and retailers and eventually its own cafe. Today, you can find Susan at the cafe, around town networking and at the Tuesday morning Port Jefferson LeTip Meetings.
