As president of Platacis Computer Consulting Inc., I provided IT support for small to medium sized business. I provided design and maintenance for SMB networks and provided some custom programming. In 1995 I joined Letip in Irvine CA When I moved to Texas I sold PCC and now only provide Software Development services as Advanced Data Systems. My years of experience in IT support and programming gives me a unique knowledge of all aspects of what makes a complete solution work best. When I work on a project I always evaluate the IT Environment, list resources and recommend upgrades when needed. My background in hardware as well as software development helps insure the success of the project. I am versed in numerous programming languages so I can leverage all the assets available. some of the most used are; TSQL (for programming SQL stored procedures, triggers and functions) Visual Basic (mostly used for MS Office solutions) C# (used most often for .NET applications) Java(Mobile applications deployed in the android platform) JavaScript(most used for local client processing on web deployed applications) Perl(LAMP deployed web solutions) XML(used in interfacing with web services like Fedex or UPS) Some less known languages I have written in include; LISP (AutoCAD scripting language) Fortran(used by tape readers back in the day) Machine language(for creating custom printer drivers) Symbol script( for programming barcode scanners) Zebra Script (for Zebra Barcode printers) I have also worked on some proprietary Robotics languages while writing a Barcode integration for BF Goodrich Aerospace. I am Andy Bush, founder and owner of Bush Business Advisors. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in Finance, I spent the first part of my career in corporate finance performing data analysis, financial reporting, and project management. In 2007, I joined a national franchise system and opened my own construction company. By 2016, we were the number one office in the country. I successfully ran that business until July 2024, so I know what it’s like to be a small business owner. While it might appear glamorous from the outside looking in, unless you’ve walked that road yourself, you just won’t understand what it takes. Now I help other business owners understand and grow their businesses.

Originally from East Texas, I came to Dallas to attend SMU, where I met my husband who lived across the hall from me freshman year. After receiving undergraduate degrees in French, Philosophy, and Foreign Languages (Spanish & German), I continued on at SMU Dedman School of Law for my J.D. The summer after I graduated law school, family circumstances led me to the other side of the probate process when I lost three close family members within just a few weeks. Going through this personally several times- trying to balance “getting things done” with the emotions that accompany deep loss- has shaped how I approach estate planning and probate. My goal is to get my clients through the probate court system as painlessly as possible, and to explore all options when addressing estate planning, so that probate court is avoided, if possible. Outside of work, I can usually be found playing Nintendo with my kids, a chihuahua or two in my lap or at my heels at (almost) all times. I am actively involved in with my daughter’s softball team, and my son and I enjoy taking special “just us” trips to art museums.  With what little remaining free time I can find, I am typically engaged in reading, taking classes, or participating in discussion groups related to my interests in socionics and personality typology, with particular emphasis on the Enneagram.
