My name is Maral Poochigian.  I am a mother of a 21 and 24 year old kids and been married for the same man for 26 years.  I got my bachelor degree and Masters in humanities from Lattakia, Syria.  I taught English as a foreign language in Syria.  Besides English, I speak Armenian and Arabic. In California, in the late Eighties and early Nineties I helped manage The Naturalizer Shoe stores in Glendale Galleria and South Coast Plaza. During the 17 years that I raised our kids, I volunteered in two communities: Our kids Catholic school and our Armenian church.  I held many types of jobs from fundraising, cooking, coaching Volleyball, teaching, to Sunday Superintendent.  In 2008, I went back to the work force and substituted in all of San Diego Catholic schools for 5 years.  I got all my requisites for my credentials but with teachers getting their pink slips, I decided to go a different route.  In 2013, I had an interview with Farmers insurance and decided to become an agent.  I love working as an agent because I still helping and educating people.  In the first 8 months of my career as an agent, I made Topper Club and Championship which is really hard to achieve.  I sell home, auto, umbrella, boat, mobile home, motorcycle, business, workers compensation and life insurance.  Having insurance does not mean being insured.
