Kraig Nace felt a love for music and for people at a young age. Growing up in his hometown of Duncannon, he learned to play percussion, beginning in 4th grade, through the instrumental music programs at Susquenita Middle and High Schools. At age 11, as an active Boy Scout, Kraig was given the opportunity to work with his then-Scoutmaster for a local disc jockey service, entertaining for school events, private parties, and car shows in central PA. By the time he reached middle school, he was also working as a "roadie" and sound/lighting tech for two local rock/variety bands. At 16, Kraig's growing passion for music and entertainment became "Juke Box Hits DJ Service" while still working with his Scoutmaster but also in obtaining his own 1974 pickup truck, a sizable cassette library (not too many CDs yet and certainly no MP3s!) and ‘vintage’ sound equipment. He continued working on his own and with his scoutmaster until graduating high school. After high school, with his mother's assistance, Kraig was able to purchase newer transportation, upgraded sound equipment, and started to book events (including a classmate's wedding reception) on his own. He went to work for Dame Media's Harrisburg Radio Group in August of 1998 and worked in a variety of roles through the takeover by Clear Channel Communications (now iHeartMedia), including the Road Crew for five radio stations, as a studio producer, as Promotions & Marketing Director for WWKL/KOOL 99.3, and ultimately on-air as "Krazy Kraig" for WRBT/BOB 94.9 and WHKF/99.3 KISS FM through 2005. Since 2005, Kraig has concentrated on improving and expanding the services provided by JUKE BOX HITS Entertainment Services, keeping up with technology, and refining performance quality. He is set on providing the absolute best in mobile entertainment to the thousands of guests with whom he has been honored to work, with personalized special attention to detail and quality that is unmatched by other mobile entertainers. In recent years, attending international conventions, trade shows, meet-ups, and symposiums has become a priority (why didn’t we do this sooner?!) Kraig also set a goal of attending at least one professional training workshop per year to enhance and personalize the services provided by JUKE BOX HITS Entertainment Services. So far, that goal has been surpassed with the 1% Solution Workshop, the PhDJ Workshop, Alan Berg workshops, Wedding Business Solutions workshops, The Wedding MBA Convention, Harvest of Sound Boston, Marbecca Method MC workshops, Harrisburg Improv Theater workshops, Appalachian Region Mobile Disc Jockey Symposium (ARMDJS), The Mobile DJ Meetup, Mobile Beat Las Vegas, DJX Atlantic City, Mobile Entertainment Expo Las Vegas, Marquee Show Chicago, the new Podcast Improv Theater, and more!
