Mistianna Lund from LeTip Las Vegas has jumped into her chapter hitting the ground running and is supporting her community in many ways. Her main passion is her nonprofit that launched just five months ago called answer4cancer, which specializes in giving holistic services to cancer patients in Clark County. Some of the services include massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, nutritionist, reiki, meditation, vegan facials and weekly organic NON-GMO juice deliveries.

“I joined LeTip because immediately I fell in love with the structure, the traditions and values they carry, and everyone truly wants to help one another and see them succeed”, Mistianna says.

In the short time answer4cancer has been established, they have already received recognition from Nevada Cancer Coalition, the “Unsung Hero” award, which is given to those rising stars in the community who are making great strides in battling cancer.

“I’m committed to transforming the medical stigma to where holistic options are a given, not an out of pocket alternative,” she states.

With the nonprofit being so young Mistianna had to get very creative on raising funds with low overhead.

“I dressed as the classic Vegas Vickie neon sign and won $10,000! That’s right! I had been praying for a way to raise funds and my heart was set on $10 grand. I took it as a sign when a Facebook ad for ‘best dressed Vegas Vickie’ at Circa ran across my feed. Three weeks until competition and that very same night, I started creating. Every single night for 115 hours I crafted that entire costume together: 3,000+ jewels, tons of paint, loads of fabric glue, velcro, LEDs, and 17 9V batteries! Boy, did I get hot quick!! But it was all so worth it for all the people it will help in our community. Circa was astounded when I told them to write the check to answer4cancer. Such a surreal and rewarding night that I’ll never forget.”

Since then, she’s been featured in Las Vegas Weekly, Fox 5 Vegas, Las Vegas Sun, Review Journal, Vital Vegas, Vegas Publicity, and more.

When she’s not working, you can find her horseback riding, traveling, or running her 350+ women’s only Meetup group. She’s also mentioned she’s running for Mrs. Nevada-America 2022 as “Mrs. City of Lights”. We’ll make sure to keep an eye on all she accomplishes over this coming year.
