Hello LeTip! I am Jodi Fein, Vice President, Charter member and Residential Realtor of the LeTip of Ronkonkoma, NY Chapter.
For years, Michael Barba, Sr., of the Port Jefferson chapter, asked me to attend meetings each time a Realtor position became available. As we all know, it is rare that that position is vacant. I liked the idea of LeTip but did not like the early morning hours of the meetings. This would be great for me if meetings were in the evening!
And so, with the guidance and help of Michael Barba and Rick Levine, the LeTip of Ronkonkoma Chapter was born. Arnold Quaranta, President of LeTip of Ronkonkoma, and I decided to start a new Chapter in the evening. This was a great concept and well liked for those that could not make the early morning meetings for one reason or another. Our first meeting we had 19 members, and now currently have 35 a little more than a year later.
As a Realtor, I was always told that joining a LeTip Chapter would help increase my business. That was an understatement! Not only has my business increased significantly, but I now have a personal sales force of 35 new people. I have been a Realtor for 17 years now and my relationship with my clients does not end when a sale is completed. Long after the closing I am constantly contacted for recommendations. The fact that my clients know “I got a Guy/Gal” for anything they may need, keeps me in constant contact. Being confident in who I recommend is something I never have to worry about. The members of my Chapter are professional and will always go above and beyond to make sure my clients are happy.
The most rewarding part of starting the LeTip of Ronkonkoma Chapter is the wonderful people I have come to know and share a meal with each week. We are not just business associates, we have become family!
