Hybrid Chapters

Aug 3, 2020 | Articles, Featured Chapter

In our most recent issue of Communicare, we talked about learning to adapt in these times to be able to succeed. One of the ways of doing this was by utilizing “Hybrid Chapters” – (Click here to learn more about what that means).

Here are some examples of chapters that have followed their state and local restrictions while also accommodating safety requests of members:

LeTip of Battle Born of Reno, NV

“Having a hybrid meeting was awesome! I didn’t think it would work as well as it did, but it was smooth. It’s a new age!”
LeTip of Battle Born of Reno had 6 members at the restaurant, and 19 on zoom. Three of the six at the restaurant had their Zoom opened so everyone could be united. The Chapter but their hybrid meetings on hold for precautions but will be sure to get back to it once Nevada numbers are controlled again.

LeTip of Huntington Beach, CA

Their chapter told us they were “Eager to pave a path to get to meeting again.” and conducted their meeting by using Zoom on a projector.

LeTip of Red Rock, NV

LeTip of Red Rock also had a projector at their meeting location and will be projecting people from their homes, on the screen. They are looking forward to the benefits of hybrid meetings. LeTip of Red Rock President Paul Benedict explained that guests will be able to see their flexibility, they can see that they have a large chapter but are accommodating safety requests and still conducting a lot of business. The chapter did not stop meeting while in quarantine, consistency is key!

Is your chapter trying new things to stay in motion? Reach out to us and tell us about it, we’d love to hear from you!

We want all of our members to be safe and secure, and still be able to conduct their regular LeTip chapter meetings and business. We hope that you are all finding ways to adjust and continue during business during 2020.
