One of our members, Lindsey Vandevier, is a florist on the East Coast. Even with storefronts being restricted and closed down by the state, she has come up with an awesome idea to continue doing business in the face of these adverse times. Please read her story below:
The digital gift of flowers…
Hello fellow LeTip members,
My shop, Rosaspina, is a boutique floral and event design shop in the heart of Montclair NJ. Our “artfully whimsical” designs are available for gift delivery within Essex County as well as for weddings and events within the tri state area and parts of PA. We are a new business, just starting into our third year, and we were looking forward to what was looking like an amazing year. A week ago we made the difficult decision to close our doors until the restrictions on non-essential businesses have been lifted for the health and safety of our community.
During times like this the joy and happiness that flowers bring is even more important than ever and it saddens me that we cannot provide beautiful fresh arrangements to you and your loved ones. HOWEVER, we feel that sharing the beauty of florals and bringing some sunshine into peoples lives is of the utmost importance during these times. So we have created a digital gift of florals for you to send to friends and families to let them know that although you cannot be together, they are in your thoughts. Life’s milestones are still happening, babies are being born, birthdays and anniversaries go on. People are getting married without the big parties. You may want to send condolences to someone who suffered a loss and cannot attend a funeral, or a get well to someone who is sick. Even better, send a little note to say you are thinking of someone who may be isolated during this time. Whatever the reason, spread hope, spread love, spread flowers.
How does it work:
Email me at lindsey@rosaspinafloral.com and provide the name and email address of the recipient along with the date you want the email to be sent and your personalized note. If you would like you can select any image from the retail section of our portfolio at www.rosaspinafloral.com/portfolio OR just let me know what kind of color pallet you would like and I will select an image for you. We will create a virtual card with a high resolution image of the design and your personal note.
