My name is Tommy Panebianco, licensed realtor of Realty Connect USA. I am a born and raised native to Long Island, NY and have no intention on ever leaving. The salt in the air and ability to drive twenty minutes from just about anywhere and find yourself on a beach is too good to walk away from. Growing up in central Suffolk County and now living on the East End I fully appreciate all of the seasons Long Island has to offer and the festivities that come with them.
Growing up I have memories of playing with my tonka trucks and building things with a medley of Lincoln logs and legos exploring my imagination. I had always said I would become an architect. In school I learned I was pretty good with numbers too and sought out to become a math teacher being I had the ability to help others in an area many had struggled. As time went on and I grew older I quickly found out that a classrooms and desks are not for me. The hospitality business has been one I was entrenched in and happy with but unsure of the future it held. A few years ago having friends in the real estate business I learned about the potential of being able to put your head down and work. I am motivated to the bone by being able to get out what you put in and so I jumped right in.
Realty Connect USA is of the youngest brokerages on Long Island but you certainly know the name. Being just ten years old but already holding over 1000 realtors across Suffolk, Nassau, Queens and Brooklyn in nearly twenty offices. I am so proud to be a part of a brokerage that truly cares about their clients. The brokerage is set up with the best support from training, appointment center and easy access to market statistics for the sole purpose of making sure that my client is happy. I will never leave this brokerage because it is clear we are family, not just coworkers. Growing year over year, you can ask any realtor at Realty Connect USA how they like it and the numbers don’t lie.
Personally, in my being I do not believe in lying, cheating, stealing and you better believe I am doing the right thing even when nobody is looking. I pride myself on my attentiveness, availability and professionalism. I run my business with these principles and know that when you treat your client as if it were your own mother then you will be successful. Being out in the field seeing every corner of this island is a gift I don’t take for granted. Every day is different and you never know where or when the next hurdle you’ll have to overcome will surface. A truly fulfilling feeling in this business, being in such a heavily referral-based profession, is when the phone rings and someone that you had helped or served in the past had recommended you to their loved ones. I have now found that the gratification of helping others, being a problem solver and helping people to reach their goals is what I was meant to do in life. Real estate is such a broad and cold word for the impact you make on a client and family through the process of representing them.
My experiences with LeTip have been wonderful and I am proud to say I am the founder of the Hampton Bays chapter of LeTip. We are one of the youngest chartered chapters in the entire organization just forming earlier this year and now holding twenty-five active members! Our group is full of dedicated business professionals and owners of the East End that really care about making the community a better place. We are happy to talk about our successes as a group being so young but still already finding great benefit in each other. We hope to exceed fifty members by the end of 2020 and take part in as many fundraisers and events we can contribute to that take place on the North fork and The Hamptons. I have never been in a better, happier or opportunistic place in my life and I thank all the people around me including the people Le Tip has given me the opportunity to meet and grow with. Learning everyone’s story and craft is exciting and a good source of motivation to do better and be better.
