Marlton, New Jersey, originally settled in the early 19th century, is a community named for the marl found abundantly in its soil, a mineral-rich greenish clay once prized as a natural fertilizer. (Fun fact: marl from this area was so valuable that it helped fuel early agricultural growth across South Jersey!) Today, Marlton is known not only for its charming suburban feel and strong local business presence, but also as the proud home of the LeTip of Marlton chapter, which just celebrated its one-year anniversary. Below we hear from the chapter leadership and where they are a year later.
“Our Chapter was formed in November of 2024. We are excited to share that we are at [about] 27 active members and growing! By the end of 2026, we think we can double that. It certainly would be our dream, and we do have the dream team!!!
As a newer board, we are a close, transparent group with shared values. We hold regular board meetings and are quick to schedule additional touchpoints whenever something needs timely attention. As leaders, we prioritize 1:1 conversation with members to ensure we’re listening, addressing concerns, and communicating updates effectively to the entire chapter. Our focus remains on strengthening processes, expanding educational opportunities, and continuing to grow the chapter through quality tips and consistent support that helps our members build their businesses.
Kathy Bleier, who holds the chapter’s Business Coach seat and owner of Kathy Bleier Coaching, was a driving force behind launching the LeTip of Marlton chapter and currently serves as its President. She believes strongly in the value of education. The chapter is working on continuing a monthly educational component to help members not only grow their businesses but also strengthen their leadership skills.
Alpat Complete Maintenance, LLC – Scott Fedezco joined LeTip of Marlton in November 2024 after transitioning from the banking industry to help expand his family’s commercial cleaning business into South Jersey. He credits the chapter with accelerating that growth, sharing: “The support I received from this group was instrumental in helping me establish and grow our business in a new market. Through tips, referrals, and valuable introductions to other local business owners and professionals, we were able to quickly gain traction in the region.” Now serving as Membership Chair, Scott notes that LeTip connections have already resulted in 10 new clients and a strong South Jersey presence, with 22 businesses under contract in under a year.
We caught up with chapter President Kathy Bleier, late last month, who said, “We are in such a different place when we were even a few months ago. We are continuing to learn, and we find that the more we get members involved the more energy there is in the chapter and we are actively working on involving more of our members as we grow.” In closing, we are learning and growing everyday together! We don’t always get it right, but we are not afraid to say when we don’t and do the right thing to make it right! The truth is we are family and as they say, you don’t give up on family!
