The first year of our chapter being part of LeTip has been a journey of growth and adaptation. We experienced several changes, both in terms of leadership and membership, although a challenge at times, it gave us an opportunity to rebuild and strengthen our foundation. Our focus has been to create a team of individuals who shared a passion for helping one another grow our businesses, while building relationships, We are proud to say that by the end of our first year, we have successfully accomplished our goal. We have not only established a more cohesive and dedicated group but have also welcomed several new members who fit seamlessly into our chapter culture. Overall, the year has been filled with progress, learning, and exciting growth opportunities for everyone involved.
In a year from now, we see our chapter continuing to grow stronger both in terms of membership and in the support we provide each other. We have already built a solid foundation, and our goal for 2025 is to further enhance the sense of community, ensuring that everyone feels connected and empowered to help one another succeed. We are focusing on expanding our membership with individuals who bring new ideas, diverse skills, and enthusiasm to the group. Additionally, we continue to refine our methods and approach, ensuring that we create more opportunities for collaboration and business growth. Ultimately, we want to be a chapter that shows the true value of networking and partnership.
Our chapter meets the first and third Thursday of the month. Meeting two times a month allows for flexibility for those whose business obligations create an obstacle for weekly meetings. Our meeting structure also benefits first time network group members as they ease into the meeting routine. Our chapter is commitment to collaboration and consistent support, even on the weeks when we don’t meet. While we gather twice a month, we ensure we’re always working to help one another grow. One of the unique practices we have is rotating our table mates each month. This gives everyone the opportunity to build stronger connections and focus on generating new business for one another. As part of this practice, each member is encouraged to provide five leads for their table mates each month, in addition to providing tips for anyone in the room. This level of engagement helps us stay focused on each other’s success and fosters a truly collaborative environment.
Our board works effectively because of the mutual respect and collaboration we share. Each member brings a positive, team-oriented mindset, with no personal agendas or egos involved. We are all united by a common goal: to make our chapter successful and a valuable group for potential members to join. Everyone on the board is fully committed to going above and beyond to ensure the chapter thrives, and this collective dedication helps create a supportive and productive environment where ideas are freely shared, and success is the focus.
In our chapter, everyone is a power partner, and we wouldn’t be as successful without working together. Let’s walk through a scenario that shows just how seamlessly we collaborate. Imagine a young couple fresh out of college, dreaming of marriage but facing the high costs of life. They meet with Joe, our financial planner, who helps them create a sound financial plan for their future. From there, Joe connects them with Angela, our credit restoration expert, to ensure their credit is in top shape before making any major decisions—like buying a house.
With good credit and a solid financial foundation, they’re ready to take the next step: homeownership. Angela refers them to Mike, our mortgage expert, who gives them a realistic idea of what they can afford. Dan, our real estate agent, then helps them find the perfect home, and introduces them to Greg, our real estate attorney, to ensure everything goes smoothly. Greg, in turn, connects them with Al, our trusted home inspector, whose certifications give the couple confidence that they’re making a sound purchase. While they’re settling in, Rafe ensures their title is clear, and Bill, our insurance broker, finds them the best deal on homeowners and car insurance.
Now in their new home and newly engaged, life is good, but they realize they want to capture these moments. Enter Edwin, our photographer, who immortalizes their key life events, from work milestones to family celebrations. As they continue their journey, they decide to start their own business. Sarah, our expert in business incorporation, bookkeeping, and tax preparation, helps them get started on the right foot. She also advises them to secure their future by purchasing life insurance and creating buy-sell agreements. Steve, our insurance specialist, takes care of that for them. Meanwhile, Nancy, our banker, sets them up with the business accounts they need to thrive.
Once their home is settled, they meet with Jay, who sells them the perfect amount of solar panels to lower their energy costs and boost their property’s value. Tom then ensures their home stays comfortable year-round by installing efficient ductless heating and cooling systems. As their wedding day approaches, the couple has concerns about the property they purchased separately. While they’re entering marriage on a positive note, they also want to prepare for the unexpected. Bruce and Robin, our matrimonial attorneys, step in to prepare a prenuptial agreement, explaining that, while they hope never to use it, it’s best to be prepared. They then refer the couple to Larry, our elder law attorney, who advises them on the importance of making a Will early, ensuring they won’t have to deal with probate court down the line.
Everything is going smoothly until the new husband is bitten by a dog on his mail route. He was just trying to pet a neighbor’s dog, but things didn’t go as planned. Kyle, our personal injury attorney, helps him settle the claim, while Katie, the dog educator, teaches him not to reach over fences to pet dogs.
And, none of this would have been possible without Shari, our chapter President and the printer in our group, who ensures we’re always armed with the marketing materials we need to reach clients and make connections. In this story, every member of our chapter plays an essential role. We are true power partners, working together to help our clients navigate life’s ups and downs.
We are sponsoring professional development workshops quarterly. We highlight one of our members, at each event and have them present their business to the general public, in hopes of them obtaining new clients.

We also organize bi-monthly social events such as bowling, axe throwing, concert in the park, baseball game, beach party and a house party. We are planning a murder mystery dinner for the spring. We have a few favorite memories. First and foremost it is most definitely when Summer informed us that we were now officially a viable chapter. We also have fond memories of all the group sponsored social events that we run.
