When I was asked to contribute to this blog, I was truly honored. As the year ends, I always find it to be a special time to gather with loved ones—family, friends, and everyone we hold dear—celebrating the holidays. It’s also a chance to reflect on the past year and set our intentions for the year ahead. I hope 2024 has brought you health, prosperity, and joy. I trust that your family is thriving, and that each person is moving forward in their journey. I also hope that your LeTip chapter had a successful year. But more importantly, how was your year?
Did you build new relationships? Did your existing relationships continue to grow and strengthen? Remember, a relationship is a living thing, and complacency can signal the beginning of its decline. Did you do better this year than last? I hope so. If not, what held you back? Did you receive as many tips as you hoped? If not, was there something you could have done differently to change that?
Did you make time to meet regularly with your Power Partner team? Did you express appreciation to those who sent business your way? Were you actively using the Extended Network, which allows you to share your chapter’s roster with your circle of influence? Are you familiar with all the tools and connections LeTip offers? Did you visit every member’s business over the course of the year, and did you invite them to visit yours? I understand how precious time is, but taking the time to visit fellow members can be an excellent opportunity to meet new potential clients.
Here’s one last question: if you received as many (or more) tips than last year, did they close? If so, congratulations—those are Dollars In Your Pocket! But if not, what went wrong? Did you have to adjust your pricing? Did you meet your project deadlines? If the client chose someone else, do you know why?
Now, let’s turn our focus to 2025. Have you set your goals for the year? More importantly, have you mapped out a plan to achieve them? Summer or I would love to speak with you about your goals for 2025. While we may not know your business as well as you do, both of us are expert networkers. Perhaps we can offer fresh ideas and introductions that you haven’t yet considered.
Over the last few years, LeTip has transformed into a true community of people helping people, with collaboration happening more freely than ever. Our team’s goal is simple: we all succeed together. We win as a team, but we lose as individuals.
On behalf of everyone at LeTip, we wish you the warmest and most wonderful holiday season. Thank you for being the best part of LeTip. We are a small part of your day, but you are our entire day. We look forward to connecting with you in the new year.
