Adam Cooper, RBP, FBCA is a photographer in Delray Beach, Florida. He is the TipMaster of LeTip of Boca Raton.

I started my photography career in 1986 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Photographic Communications from the Rochester Institute of Technology. After graduation, I returned to my home on Long Island and started my career as a Medical Photographer at a hospital there. During that time, I developed my own photography and video business as well, mainly doing events like wedding and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.

In 2018 my wife, Elena, our younger son Evan, left Long Island for the warmth of Florida. The year before I left, I joined the Smithtown Chapter of LeTip on Long Island. I was sad to leave the chapter, but was hopeful to come down to the Boca Raton Chapter.

The people in the Boca Raton chapter were welcoming and helpful. Specifically, a major shout out goes to Lisa Wendell, the realtor of the group, who took tremendous time out and helped find the family a great place to live in Delray Beach. It felt like family already.

At the first meeting in Boca Raton, they welcomed me graciously. The first speaker was Doug Bressler, the printer in the group. He got up and spoke about his business and his training. He mentioned RIT. As it turns out, he was at RIT the same years that I was there. We were even in the same school building but in different programs. So, it took 30 years for us to meet, and all thanks to LeTip of Boca Raton!! I knew at that moment, I was in the right place!

I provide a wide range of photographic products and services. I am now focusing on four main areas of service:

1. Real Estate and Commercial Architecture photography and video. I am an FAA part 107 licensed drone pilot. Here is a link to my architecture photography.

2. Corporate Photography and video productions for PR, Marketing, Advertising and Portraiture. I can provide portrait in an on-site studio as well as environmental portraiture. Here is a link to some corporate photography. | Here is a link to an environmental portrait project.

3. Wedding and event photography. Coming from New York, I’ve experienced just about all types of cultural and religious events. Here is a link to my wedding work.

4. Medical and Scientific photography and video to support patient care and medical education. While working in NY, along with Dr. Michael Setzen, an ENT Surgeon, we developed a pre-op visualization process for rhinoplasty. The purpose is to give the patient a real idea of what the outcome of the surgery could be like. They can then have a better conversation with the physician and be confident that their desires of outcome can be closely matched. Here is the website for the medical photography.

I am also serving as President of the BioCommunications Association, which I’ve been involved with since 1983. More information about that association can be found here.

So, as you can see, I created my business in a slightly different way than some commercial or event photographers may have. I enjoy working with and photographing people in their environment and making people look good. My LeTip chapter, within a year, has become like family to me. The people in the group are genuinely there to help each other. Without this group, my transition from Long Island to Florida would have been extremely difficult.

I would be happy to help any photographer in LeTip with any questions, related to photography, video or the running of a photography and video business.

Thank you,
