Awarded LeTip International’s 2009 Orange County President of the Year Award

Andy Huff, President of LeTip of Mission Viejo, was presented with LeTip International's Orange County 2009 President of the Year Award by LeTip Regional Director, Brad Burch.

Mr. Burch stopped by for a surprise visit to the 25-year old, 94 member chapter to present the award to Mr. Huff, whom he had personally selected from amongst the 27 current LeTip Chapter Presidents in the LeTip stronghold region of Orange County, California.

When asked why Mr. Huff warranted the Award, Mr. Burch replied, “There are so many great leaders fulfilling the role of Chapter President in the Orange County Region so it was a tough call. Andy not only exhibited outstanding leadership qualities despite the slow economy, he also developed guidelines whenever there was a perceived category conflict within his chapter.

“I was so impressed with how precise, concise and thorough Andy’s procedures flowed,” said Burch, “that I petitioned to have them made part of LeTip International’s formal protocol whenever any chapter found themselves in a situation where a potential member’s category could be mistakenly identified as a conflict with the membership at large.”

Burch continued, “In a phrase, Andy just plain “gets it.” As has a penchant for taking himself out of the equation and putting the chapter’s needs first. To me, this trait of selflessness is what makes a truly great Chapter President.”

Mr. Huff graciously agreed to allow LeTip International to use the Conflict Guidelines and they were rolled out nationwide at the Fall 2008 Board of Director Seminars.
