Inspectors must not miss going over the back of the application. This is the portion of the application that tells the potential new member what the chapter expects of its members and also what the new members should expect from the chapter. Sometimes members and Inspectors want to rush through this part of the application, or avoid it all together, fearing that the applicant may decide not to join. Explain the commitment thoroughly, if they are doubtful or decide otherwise, then keep that category available for a dedicated member who will understand the commitment and know the rules before jumping into the game.
