Every field you enter information into, you are searching with those criteria.
In the example above, since the fields Business Name and State are filled (with 'axa' and 'pa' respectively), those are the only two criteria that the search will use. It will try to find all businesses with 'axa' in its name and for matching states with the letters 'pa'.
The Members Search allows you to search partial information. For example, if you entered in 'pa' for the Local Chapter field, without specifying the state you want to search for, you will not only get all Pennsylvania chapters but also every chapter that has the letters 'pa' in its name, such as 'Paradise Valley, AZ'. This obviously is not the way to search if you are looking for members in the state of PA. The more information you give in your search will always result in a better result. Here is an example of what NOTto do:
To do a state search, please enter in the two letter abbreviation for the state. You can only search for one state if you decide to use this criteria.
